Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use the Fynix website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, zoom or other assistive technology. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
1. What we have done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Text colours are chosen for strong contrast against their background.
- Headings, landmarks and form labels are marked up so screen readers can find their way around.
- The 3D background and the moving tour are decoration, hidden from screen readers. Everything they show is also written in the page.
- If your device has "reduce motion" turned on, the background and tour stop moving.
- The page still works if JavaScript is turned off, and text can be zoomed to 200% without losing content.
- Fonts are served from our own domain and fall back to your system fonts.
2. Known limits
- The website is available in English only.
- We have not yet had an independent accessibility review. This statement is based on our own testing.
- The Fynix app is still in development. It will have its own accessibility statement before it opens.
3. How we check
We test pages with a keyboard, with zoom, with the reduce-motion setting, at phone and desktop sizes, and with automated checks for contrast and markup.
4. Tell us about a barrier
If something on this website is hard for you to use, email founder@usefynix.com with the subject "Accessibility". Tell us the page and what happened. We will reply, and if you need the information in another format, we will provide it.
